Handling:
Preparation: Before use, stir the paint thoroughly to ensure a uniform consistency.
Extraction: Transfer the required amount into a separate container to prevent contamination of the remaining paint in the can.
Storage: Always seal the can airtight to prevent drying out. Placing a layer of plastic wrap between the lid and the can can help minimize air contact.
Store the paint in a cool, dry place (ideally between 10–20°C), but protect it from frost.
Paint Care: If a skin forms on the surface, carefully remove it and stir the paint again.
Dilution: If the paint thickens over time, it can be restored to a brushable consistency with a little water or an appropriate thinner.
Hygiene: Avoid dipping dirty brushes directly into the can to prevent contamination.
Chalk paint can be dabbed or applied with a brush. It dries to a matte finish, and sanding with sandpaper can enhance its distinctive, powdery character.
