Six won't stop crying. Seven seems small, but it can be made as small as a light bulb. As big as a soccer ball. As big as the TV in the living room.

These seven creatures (some terrible, some seemingly harmless) live under Alma's bed and come out at night to steal her light, dreams and hopes. Alma does not dare to talk about them with her family or friends, for fear that no one will believe that they are real.
